Coloured Linen Hire Procedures, Terms & CONDITIONS
As from November 2015
Linen orders can be placed by email or telephone. All orders will be confirmed by email.
As From November 2015 Delivery / Collection is:
Orders over £100.00 will be £36.00
Orders under £100.00 will b e £26.00
All prices are ex vat.
Linen orders are delivered and collected by a national carrier.
CREDIT ACCOUNTS / PAYMENTS
14 Day Accounts may be set up on completion of a Credit Application.
All non - account orders must be paid for prior to delivery of the linen.
Orders can be paid for over the telephone with a Credit/Debit Card. The charge will be made to the card the day prior to delivery being made. We accept the following cards - Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Delta.
Alternatively you can pay by cheque, to reach us one week prior to despatch of the linen.
Cancellation of complete tablecloth orders within 7 days of the delivery date may incur a 75% hire charge.
There will be no charge for orders cancelled up to 7 days before the delivery date.
DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS
Linen deliveries will be made by a National Carrier, between 8:00am and 6:00pm. It is important to ensure that there is someone available at the delivery/collection location to sign for the linen.
The standard delivery day for a weekend hire will normally be between 8:00am - 6:00pm on Thursdays. In some cases we can deliver the cloths on Wednesdays for a weekend function.
Collections from a weekend hire will be on Mondays or Tuesdays from 9am onwards. Please ensure that the linen is packed back in its respective bag(s) by 8:00am. The carriers will not wait for consignments that are not ready for collection. In some cases we can extend the collection day to Wednesday.
To guarantee deliveries by certain times surcharges will apply. Please call for details.
DAMAGE TO LINEN
MINOR DAMAGE: As from 1st November 2015 we will not charge you for 'Minor Damage' to tablecloths. Minor damage covers damage from Mildew, Stains and General marks.
MAJOR DAMAGE: Damage to tablecloths caused by candles that have burnt down and left a hole in the tablecloths or by indoor fireworks burning small holes in the tablecloths or any other willful damage will be charged for at replacement cost
You will be notified of any damage to hired linen, normally within 10 days from the day you returned the cloth.
Damaged cloth(s) can be returned to you, so long as the delivery charge is paid for..
A list of replacement charges can be sent to you on request.
Please ensure that damp linen is left to dry before being packed back into the boxes/bags. Damp linen is very susceptible to mildew, which can ruin a cloth within a few hours. A full replacement charge will be made for any cloth that is damaged beyond repair by mildew.
LINEN RETURNED UNUSED
There will be no Refund / Credit for any linen that is returned unused.
Up to 7 days - 1 x Hire rate
7 days - 10 days - 1.5 x Hire Rate
11 days - 14 days - 2 x Hire Rate
Longer Durations - Price on application
LINEN TRANSIT BAGS
The linen will be despatched to you in our own “transit” bags.
Please ensure that these transit bags are not sent out to your customers. They are only to be used to transport the linen from us to you and back again. Linen should be transferred into your own bags to be sent to your customers.
Please treat the bags with care.
Please store the bags in a dry place. Do not leave the bags outside in the rain.
A £45.00 charge will be raised for the loss of, or any major damage to any bag.
